一、要看 《用apt+synaptic 在線安裝或升級Fedora core 4.0 軟件包》
二、確認系統內核版本；
[beinan@localhost ~]$ uname -a Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 #1 Thu Jun 2 22:55:56 EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
通過上面的我們知道內核是沒有帶SMP字樣的，注意這是我的機器的內容；SMP是支持多處理器的內核；
用下面的命令就能確知最清晰的；
[beinan@localhost ~]$ uname -r -p 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 i686
三、為nvidia 來安裝顯示卡驅動
用 synaptic 來安裝時，要找到與自己內核相對應的。其實依賴包也會安裝上，在kernel-modules中找，選 上後，就把依賴包也自動選上了。
安裝完成後。
[root@localhost beinan]# nvidia-settings
自己配置一下就行了。。四、為Ati顯示卡安裝驅動，具體是不是支持您的顯示卡，只有看ati的說明了。他說要在 8500以下的才支持；也是一樣的，首先要確認系統內核，要看仔細了；
用synaptic 的搜索，關健詞： fgl
會找出好多的版本，然後點擊 kernel-modules 適合的版本就可以了，這樣依賴關系會自動選上。
安裝好後運行： [root@localhost beinan]# ati-fglrx-config-display enable[root@localhost beinan]#/usr/X11R6/bin/fireglcontrolpanel與之相關的命令有： [root@localhost beinan]# fglrxconfig[root@localhost beinan]#/usr/X11R6/bin/fgl_glxgears[root@localhost beinan]#/usr/X11R6/bin/fglrx_xgamma[root@localhost beinan]#/usr/X11R6/bin/fglrxconfig[root@localhost beinan]#/usr/X11R6/bin/fglrxinfo[root@localhost beinan]#/usr/X11R6/bin/fireglcontrol方法二：可以根據上內核的版本，直接到 http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/4/i386/RPMS.lvn/ 下在RPM包安裝，要注意版本和依賴；
安裝方法：
#rpm -ivh 軟件.rpm
