雖然還在發展 PHP4，但是 PHP Group 還是於日前釋出了 PHP 3.0.16。這個版本大部份都是在修正一些臭〖，並且支援 gd-1.8、ucd-snmp 4.1、和在 OS/2 上使用的較高精確度的計時器。除此之外，對 OpenBSD 的支援也有做改進。
