開源軟件巨頭紅帽公司最近宣布，圍繞紅帽Linux的ISV合作伙伴生態系統，在過去的6個月中獲得了創紀錄的增長速度。
在年初4月份的時候，紅帽公司宣布開始一項培養ISV合作伙伴的計劃，計劃將紅帽歐洲的非直銷模式增加到70%。在過去的6個月中，獲得紅帽認證的ISV合作伙伴數量竟然以高達122%的速度增長。
Red Hat公司企業解決方案部的執行副總Tim Yeaton認為，在幾乎所有的行業，對開源軟件的需求都在增長，特別在2006年，醫療、電信、金融服務等行業逐漸浮現處水面，成為開源軟件企業部署的最大客戶。
作為ISV企業InterSystems的策略規劃副總Paul Grabscheid，在發言中說，我們和紅帽的合作，確保了我們可以和業界最優秀的Linux企業為我們的客戶提供最優秀、更靈活的企業部署。
Open source software giant Red Hat has claimed its ISV partner ecosystem has experienced ‘record’ growth in the past six months.
The firm, which earlier this year announced plans to shift to a 70 per cent indirect model in Europe (CRN, 10 April), said the numbers of certified ISV partners have increased by 122 per cent in the past six months.
Tim Yeaton, executive vice-president of enterprise solutions at Red Hat, said: “Demand for open source is happening in virtually all industry sectors. But in 2006, healthcare, telecoms and financial services emerged as the top industries for enterprise adoption of open source.”
Paul Grabscheid, vice-president of strategic planning at ISV InterSystems, said in a statement: “Our partnership with Red Hat allows us to ensure the highest levels of scalability for our customers with a Linux offering from the market leader.”
