工作需要，在Ubuntu安裝了vncserver，使用vncviewer連接後發現輸入字母s或m後，分別彈出logout菜單和message菜單
開始以為是vnc客戶端的問題，換了幾個發現都存在這個問題，也就排除是客戶端的bug
baidu和google了半天，貌似很少有人碰到這個問題。
幸運的是搜索結果中列出了文章的部分信息，一個關鍵的url：https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/indicator-applet/+bug/568401
打開後，發現原來是indicator applet引起的bug
具體修復步驟如下：
1.apt-get install apt-show-versions (安裝用於查看ubuntu軟件包版本的應用)
2.apt-show-versions | grep indicator-applet (查看安裝的indicator applet版本)
發現安裝的版本正是0.3.6，存在bug的那個版本
3.apt-get install indicator-applet (更新至最新版本)
4.重啟vncserver，一切正常

順便查了下indicator applet是干什麼的
A small applet to display information from various applications consistently in the panel.
The indicator applet exposes Ayatana Indicators in the Gnome Panel. Ayatana Indicators are an initiative by Canonical to provide crisp and clean system and application status indication. They take the form of an icon and associated menu, displayed (usually) in the desktop panel. Existing indicators include the Message Menu, Battery Menu and Sound menu.
