我們已經事先下載好了 PacketTracer53_Ubuntu.tar.gz 安裝包;

然後執行命令

sudo tar -xvf PacketTracer53_Ubuntu.tar.gz

這是將該tar包解壓縮到當前文件夾;然後按照以下步驟安裝即可:

  1. root@ubuntu:~/download/PacketTracer53# ll

  21. Welcome to Cisco Packet Tracer 5.3 Installation
  22. Read the following End User License Agreement "EULA" carefully. You must accept the terms of this EULA to install and use Cisco Packet Tracer 5.3.
  23. Press the Enter key to read the EULA.
  24. Cisco Packet Tracer
  25. Software License Agreement
  26. IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS CISCO PACKET TRACER SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT (THE
  27. "AGREEMENT") CAREFULLY. DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING OR USING THE CISCO PACKET
  28. TRACER SOFTWARE CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE
  29. TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, THEN CISCO SYSTEMS, INC. ("CISCO") IS
  30. UNWILLING TO LICENSE THE SOFTWARE TO YOU AND YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO
  31. DOWNLOAD, INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.
  32. I. DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS. The terms in this Section I ("Distribution
  33. Rights") of the Agreement apply solely to any Cisco Networking Academy
  34. instructor, administrator or other person or entity approved in writing by
  35. Cisco Systems, Inc. (each, an "Instructor") to distribute and use the Cisco
  36. Packet Tracer software and related documentation (collectively, the "Software")
  37. in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
  38. Subject to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement
  39. set forth in Section II below (the "EULA"), Cisco grants Instructor a
  40. limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to distribute the
  41. Software using the Permitted Distribution Methods (defined below),
  42. during the term of the Agreement to Permitted End Users (defined below)
  43. solely as reasonably necessary to provide networking training or
  44. instruction in accordance with the terms and conditions of the
  45. Agreement. The Permitted Distribution Methods are: (i) distribution
  46. via a password protected website (WAN distribution), Local Area Network
  47. (LAN distribution) or FTP server; or (ii) distribution via CD's or
  48. other tangible media containing the Software. Instructor shall not
  49. remove the EULA from the Software. Instructor shall use reasonable
  50. efforts to ensure Permitted End Users comply with the EULA. Permitted
  51. End Users are students, faculty or alumni of Cisco Networking Academy
  52. or such other individuals or entities approved in writing by Cisco.
  53. Instructors shall not make any copies or duplicates of the Software
  54. except as reasonably necessary to exercise the rights granted
  55. hereunder. Except to the extent set forth herein, no distribution,
  56. marketing or other transfer of the Software is permitted. Without
  57. limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Software may not be
  58. copied, licensed, sub-licensed, sold or otherwise distributed in
  59. exchange for any fee or value-in-kind.
  60. Instructor acknowledges and agrees that Cisco retains sole and
  61. exclusive title and ownership to the Software, including all copies
  62. thereof, all Cisco trademarks, designations, logos and other branding
  63. for the Software and all intellectual property rights in or to any of
  64. the foregoing.
  65. Cisco may terminate the Distribution Rights granted hereunder for any
  66. reason or no reason on five (5) business days notice. Unless earlier
  67. terminated as set forth in the preceding sentence, the term of this
  68. Agreement shall continue until Instructor is no longer a Cisco
  69. Networking Academy instructor, administrator or other person or entity
  70. approved in writing by Cisco to exercise the rights set forth in this
  71. Agreement.
  72. II. The following End User License Agreement or "EULA" shall apply to all
  73. users of the Software:
  74. End User License Agreement
  75. BY DOWNLOADING OR INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE YOU ARE BINDING YOURSELF AND/OR THE
  76. ENTITY THAT YOU REPRESENT (COLLECTIVELY, "USER") TO THIS END USER LICENSE
  77. AGREEMENT ("EULA"). The following terms of this EULA govern access to and use
  78. of the Software.
  79. License. Conditioned upon compliance with the terms and conditions of this
  80. EULA, Cisco Systems, Inc. ("Cisco") grants to User a royalty free, personal,
  81. nonexclusive, nontransferable and revocable license to use the Cisco Packet
  82. Tracer software and related documentation (collectively, the "Software") solely
  83. to create, display or run network simulations using files with suffixes ".pkt"
  84. or ".pka" (collectively, "Activities") in connection with Cisco Networking
  85. Academy or for such other purpose(s) approved by Cisco in writing. No license
  86. is granted for any other purpose and there are no implied licenses in this
  87. EULA.
  88. General Limitations. This is a license, not a transfer of title, to the
  89. Software and Cisco retains ownership of all copies of the Software. User
  90. acknowledges and agrees that Cisco and/or its suppliers own all right, title
  91. and interest in and to the Software, including without limitation, any and all
  92. copyrights, patents, trade secrets, trademarks and other intellectual property
  93. rights therein. Cisco has the exclusive right to apply for or register any
  94. patents, mask work rights, copyrights, or such other proprietary protections
  95. with respect to the Software. User will not earn or acquire any rights or
  96. licenses under any copyrights, patents, trade secrets, trademarks or other
  97. intellectual property rights on account of this EULA. Except as otherwise
  98. expressly provided under this EULA, User shall have no right, and User
  99. specifically agrees not to:
  100. (i) transfer, assign or sublicense its license rights to any other
  101. person or entity, and User acknowledges that any attempted transfer,
  102. assignment, sublicense or use shall be void;
  103. (ii) make error corrections to or otherwise modify or adapt the
  104. Software or create derivative works (excluding Activities) based upon
  105. the Software, or permit third parties to do the same;
  106. (iii) reverse engineer or decompile, decrypt, disassemble or otherwise
  107. reduce the Software to human-readable form, except to the extent
  108. otherwise expressly permitted under applicable law notwithstanding this
  109. restriction;
  110. (iv) use or permit the Software to be used to perform services for
  111. third parties, whether on a service bureau or time sharing basis or
  112. otherwise, without the express written authorization of Cisco; or
  113. (v) disclose, provide, or otherwise make available trade secrets
  114. contained within the Software in any form to any third party without
  115. the prior written consent of Cisco. User shall implement reasonable
  116. security measures to protect such trade secrets.
  117. To the extent required by law, and at User's written request, Cisco shall
  118. provide User with the interface information needed to achieve interoperability
  119. between the Software and another independently created program, on payment of
  120. Cisco's applicable fee, if any. User shall observe strict obligations of
  121. confidentiality with respect to such interface information and shall use such
  122. interface information in compliance with any reasonable terms and conditions
  123. upon which Cisco makes such interface information available.
  124. Software, Upgrades and Additional Copies. For purposes of this EULA, "Software"
  125. shall include (and the terms and conditions of this EULA shall apply to)
  126. computer programs, as provided to User by Cisco or an authorized agent and any
  127. upgrades, updates, bug fixes or modified versions thereto (collectively,
  128. "Upgrades") or backup copies of the Software permitted hereunder.
  129. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS EULA: (1) USER HAS NO LICENSE OR
  130. RIGHT TO USE ANY UPGRADES OR ADDITIIONAL COPIES UNLESS USER, AT THE TIME OF
  131. ACQUIRING SUCH COPY OR UPGRADE, ALREADY HOLDS A VALID LICENSE TO THE ORIGINAL
  132. SOFTWARE; AND (2) THE MAKING AND USE OF ADDITIONAL COPIES IS LIMITED TO
  133. NECESSARY BACKUP PURPOSES ONLY.
  134. Proprietary Notices. User agrees to maintain and reproduce all copyright and
  135. other proprietary notices on all copies, in any form, of the Software in the
  136. same form and manner that such copyright and other proprietary notices are
  137. included on the Software. Except as expressly authorized in this EULA, User
  138. shall not make any copies or duplicates of any Software without the prior
  139. written permission of Cisco.
  140. Term and Termination. Provided User complies with the terms and conditions
  141. of this EULA, the license granted herein shall remain in effect for so long
  142. as User remains a Permitted End User, as determined by Cisco in its sole
  143. discretion. User may terminate this EULA and the license at any time by
  144. destroying all copies of the Software. User's rights under this EULA will
  145. terminate immediately without notice from Cisco if User fails to comply with
  146. any provision of this EULA. Upon termination, User shall destroy all copies of
  147. Software in its possession or control. All confidentiality obligations of User
  148. and all limitations of liability and disclaimers and restrictions of warranty
  149. shall survive termination of this EULA. In addition, the provisions of the
  150. sections titled "U.S. Government End User Purchasers" and "General Terms
  151. Applicable to the Limited Warranty Statement and Software License" shall
  152. survive termination of this EULA.
  153. Export. The Software, including technical data, may be subject to U.S. export
  154. control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Act and its associated
  155. regulations, and may be subject to export or import regulations in other
  156. countries. User agrees to comply strictly with all such regulations and
  157. acknowledges that it has the responsibility to obtain licenses to export,
  158. re-export, or import the Software.
  159. U.S. Government End User Purchasers. The Software qualifies as "commercial
  160. items," as that term is defined at Federal Acquisition Regulation ("FAR")
  161. (48 C.F.R.) 2.101, consisting of "commercial computer software" and "commercial
  162. computer software documentation" as such terms are used in FAR 12.212.
  163. Consistent with FAR 12.212 and DoD FAR Supp. 227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4, and
  164. notwithstanding any other FAR or other contractual clause to the contrary in
  165. any agreement into which this EULA may be incorporated, User may provide to
  166. Government end user or, if this agreement is direct, Government end user will
  167. acquire, the Software with only those rights set forth in this EULA. Use of
  168. the Software constitutes agreement by the Government that the Software and
  169. related documentation are "commercial computer software" and "commercial
  170. computer software documentation," and constitutes acceptance of the rights and
  171. restrictions herein.
  172. No Warranty
  173. THE SOFTWARE FURNISHED UNDER THIS EULA IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT
  174. ANY WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR
  175. STATUTORY; INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF QUALITY, PERFORMANCE,
  176. NONINFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NOR ARE
  177. THERE ANY WARRANTIES CREATED BY A COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE OR
  178. TRADE USAGE. CISCO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET USER'S NEEDS OR
  179. WILL BE FREE FROM ERRORS, OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE
  180. UNINTERRUPTED. THE FOREGOING EXCLUSIONS AND DISCLAIMERS ARE AN ESSENTIAL PART
  181. OF THIS EULA AND FORMED THE BASIS FOR DETERMINING THE FEES CHARGED FOR THE
  182. SOFTWARE.
  183. Disclaimer of Liabilities. REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ANY REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN
  184. FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OR OTHERWISE, IN NO EVENT WILL CISCO OR ITS
  185. SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST REVENUE, PROFIT, OR LOST OR DAMAGED DATA,
  186. NETWORK FAILURE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF CAPITAL, OR FOR SPECIAL,
  187. INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES HOWEVER CAUSED AND
  188. REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY OR WHETHER ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR
  189. INABILITY TO USE SOFTWARE OR OTHERWISE AND EVEN IF CISCO OR ITS SUPPLIERS OR
  190. LICENSORS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. In no event
  191. shall Cisco's or its suppliers' or licensors' liability to User, whether in
  192. contract, tort (including negligence), breach of warranty, or otherwise, exceed
  193. the price paid by User for the Software that gave rise to the claim or if the
  194. Software is part of another Product, the price paid for such other Product.
  195. BECAUSE SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF
  196. CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
  197. User agrees that the limitations of liability and disclaimers set forth herein
  198. will apply regardless of whether User has accepted the Software or any other
  199. product or service delivered by Cisco. User acknowledges and agrees that Cisco
  200. has granted the licenses and entered into this relationship in reliance upon
  201. the disclaimers of warranty and the limitations of liability set forth herein,
  202. that the same reflect an allocation of risk between the parties (including the
  203. risk that a contract remedy may fail of its essential purpose and cause
  204. consequential loss), and that the same form an essential basis of the bargain
  205. between the parties.
  206. General. The EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
  207. laws of the State of California, without reference to or application of
  208. choice of law rules or principles. The United Nations Convention on the
  209. International Sale of Goods shall not apply. If any portion hereof is found to
  210. be void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of the EULA shall remain in
  211. full force and effect. Except as expressly provided herein, this EULA
  212. constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the
  213. license of the Software and supersedes any conflicting or additional terms
  214. contained in any purchase order or elsewhere, all of which terms are excluded.
  215. This EULA has been written in the English language, and the parties agree that
  216. the English version will govern. User waives any rights User may have under
  217. the law of User's country or province to have this EULA written in any language
  218. other than English.
  219. Cisco, Cisco Systems, and the Cisco Systems logo are registered trademarks of
