在 Ubuntu8.10 上安裝 ubuntu-system-panel (USP)

Ubuntu-system-panel 是一GNOME下的一個簡單的菜單，提供了方便的訪問電腦上的位置、應用程序和配置選項的方法。這篇文章引導大家如何在 Ubuntu 8.10 上安裝和配置UPS。

ubuntu-system-panel（USP) 安裝後的界面:

1 安裝 ubuntu-system-panel

打開一個終端

安裝Subversion：

sudo apt-get install subversion

下載ubuntu-system-panel源碼：

mkdir -p ~/Downloads/SVN

cd ~/Downloads/SVN

svn checkout http://ubuntu-system-panel.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ ubuntu-system-panel

安裝ubuntu-system-panel:

cd ubuntu-system-panel

./usp_update install fresh

如果你是X86_64系統的話，在這之後，你還需要運行下面的命令：

sudo cp /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/usp/plugins/_keybind64.so _keybinder.so

最後運行 ： killall gnome-panel 這將使你的panel消失一回，不過不用擔心，你已經安裝好ubuntu-system-panel了，並且可以使用了

剩下這些是你可能會用到的命令

升級：

cd ~/Downloads/SVN/ubuntu-system-panel

./usp_update update

卸載：

cd ~/Downloads/SVN/ubuntu-system-panel

./usp_update uninstall

完全卸載：

cd ~/Downloads/SVN/ubuntu-system-panel

./usp_update uninstall complete

2 使用 ubuntu-system-panel

只需在panel上右擊，選“添加到面板”，然後找到ubuntu-system-panel添加上去就OK拉！
