1、關閉最小化動畫
［alt+f2］gconf-editor 進入gnome控制台程序。
app/metacity/general/reduced_resources 選上
desktop/genome/interface/accessibility 選上 （如果不選這個 移動窗口的時候會出現一些黑方格）
2、長期使用 Ubuntu 後有一種感覺，那就是在 GNOME 中啟動應用程序時，速度越來越慢。在 Ubuntu 英文論壇那邊看到一個技巧，可以對這個問題起到改善作用。打開 /etc/hosts 文件，可以看到類似下面的內容：
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 windstorm
現在，只需在第一行的末尾加上主機名即可
127.0.0.1 localhost windstorm
127.0.1.1 windstorm
保存後，重啟系統，更改生效。
3、ipv6 dns 大多數的 Linux Distro 也將 IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) 預設地開啟，但有時實際上不需要 IPv6 支援，如要關閉 IPv6 可用以下方法:
Debian / Ubuntu
1. 開啟 /etc/modprobe.d/aliases
2. 裡面有一行是 "alias net-pf-10 ipv6"
3. 將以上一行用以下兩行取代:
alias net-pf-10 off
alias ipv6 off
