Focuswriter 是又一款文本編輯器，有一個隱藏的接口提供一個獨立自由的環境。這是一款開源的、跨平台的軟件，可運行在Linux，Windows和MAC OS X 系統上。
該軟件支持txt、RTF和ODT，允許用戶設置定時器和報警，具有自動保存和拼寫檢查，支持一些新的主題和翻譯超過20種語言。
可用的最新版本Focuswriter 1.4.6，最近已被發布，版本修復說明。

用戶可以通過PPA安裝，非常方便：
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gottcode/gcppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install focuswriter
刪除軟件：
sudo apt-get remove focuswriter
移除PPA命令：
sudo apt-get install ppa-purge
sudo ppa-purge ppa:gottcode/gcppa
另外My Weather Indicator 0.6.7天氣小程序發布，安裝命令：
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:atareao/atareao
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install my-weather-indicator
刪除軟件命令：
sudo apt-get remove my-weather-indicator
移除PPA：
sudo apt-get install ppa-purge
sudo ppa-purge ppa:atareao/atareao
