回想Fedora7在筆記本中的安裝使用好多了，不必修改grub的引導，beryl也是安裝好了就可以用。Fedora 8倒好，進入桌面了，beryl也安裝好了，就是不能用：3D盒子出來了，可是桌面一片蒼白，只看到盒子的頂面和底面只能ctrl+alt+backspace注銷重來。compiz同樣不能使用，desktop-effects提示不能用。在終端運行kde-desktop-effects.sh，提示錯誤：
……compiz: No GLXFBConfig for default depth, this isn't going to work.compiz: Failed to manage screen: 0compiz: No manageable screens found on display :0.0……
又拉網找到了解決的辦法：創建/etc/drirc，內容如下：
<driconf> <device screen="0" driver="name of your driverhere"> <application name="all"> <option name="allow_large_textures"value="2" /> </application> </device> </driconf>
重新試試終於ok。
