安裝操作系統步驟
1）使用軟盤冷啟動，在boot:的提示符後: 回車.
2）接下提示: press to installation: 回車.
3）接下提示：

IDE Controller: secondary (按實際情況修改)
Master or Slave: master (按實際要求修改)

按兩次向下箭頭,將光標移到: Accept above choices.回車.

插入UNIX安裝光盤,選擇OK,回車
6）接下提示:
(選擇鍵盤類型)

分別輸入注冊號和注冊代碼,然後出現:
License data: Type in
輸入注冊數據後將光標移到: Accept above choices,按回車.

選擇Fresh(第一次安裝),回車

1.2.4.1鼠標安裝

1.2.4.2安裝以太網卡(以3c509為例)
1） scoadmin，回車:
2）選Networks，回車:
3）在Network Configuration Manager 屏幕下,選擇Hardware菜單下的Add
new LAN adapter
4）在 Add new LAN adapter 屏幕下,選擇3Com EtherLink III ISA
(3C509 and 3C509-TP)
5）屏幕顯示:

按方向箭頭將光標移到 SCO TCP/IP,按 Tab 選擇 Add 回車顯示：
10）在 SCO TCP/IP Configuration 屏幕下：
修改 IP Address 和 Netmask. 其余選擇默認值.然後選擇 OK 後屏
幕顯示:
11）[ OK ] [ Help ]
選擇 OK 後回到主菜單
12）在 Hardware 下選擇 Exit 退出.屏幕顯示:

1.2.4.4設置打印機
1）在#號下鍵入:
#mkdev lp 回車
在Printer Manager on scosysv屏幕下選擇Printer菜單下的
Add Local…
2）在Add Local Printer 屏幕下，在 Name：下輸入：lp0; Model: 選擇:
epson. 其余默認.然後選擇 OK.
3）回到主菜單，選擇Host菜單下的Exit，退出
1.2.4.5多用戶卡的設置
1）參照多用戶卡的說明書，按COM2口設置調線.
2）在# 號下鍵入#mkdev serial
3）將光標移到[Add…],回車
4） 選擇第二個Description為4,Ports為4,此時IRQ應為3,
I/O add為1a0,選擇OK回車,屏幕顯示如下:

輸入y後屏幕顯示:
6）Do you want this kernal to boot by default? (y/n)
輸入y，回車，屏幕顯示：
