隨著Windows 10 Mobile發布，新的操作系統市場份額不斷增長，但是在7月份Windows 10 Mobile市場份額僅增長1%，錄得11.9%的份額。這個月，Windows 10 Mobile市場份額在8月22日當天達到14%。

與此同時，Windows Phone 8.1市場份額下跌1.8%，從上月的79.1%下降到77.3%。Windows Phone 8市場份額也有半個百分點下降。最後是Windows Phone 7，這個月其市場份額居然增加了0.1%。

此外，AdDuplex統計數據顯示，Windows 10 Mobile周年更新推出之後，迅速普及，目前在Windows 10 Mobile操作系統市場上市占率達到52.4%。大多數Windows 10移動用戶已經自覺自願地迅速升級。此外，AT&T品牌手機自動獲得更新，因此，幫助Windows 10 Mobile周年更新增加其份額。而Windows 10 Mobile 1511目前市場份額是41.3%，Windows 10 Mobile Redstone2測試版市場份額已經有6.3%。
