Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Unity 開啟 Compiz Desktop特效，使用Compiz Desktop特效之前我們需要核對一下你的機子是否支持Compiz Desktop特效，打開終端，運行下面的命令：

/usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p

如果顯示結果如下為YES，意味著能完美運行：

Not software rendered: yes
Not blacklisted: yes
GLX fbconfig: yes
GLX texture from pixmap: yes
GL npot or rect textures: yes
GL vertex program: yes
GL fragment program: yes
GL vertex buffer object: yes
GL framebuffer object: yes
GL version is 1.4+: yes
Unity 3D supported: yes

然後安裝ccsm，運行命令：

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

然後打開CCSM做下面的設置（如圖）：

該設置意思是建立4個桌面，4列1行。
